ARGON Laser is green, yellow or red light focused on the retina to create a microscopic burn with the aim to kill sick tissue or create an adhesion between the retina and the underlying choroid. The ARGON Laser photocoagulation is used to treat retinal vascular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion and to seal retinal breaks to prevent retinal detachment.
