OCT – Optical Coherence Tomography
Takes high resolution cross-sectional images of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. It is commonly used to diagnose and follow-up macular diseases and to measure nerve fiber layer thickness around the optic nerve head for the diagnosis and follow-up of glaucoma. It is also used to assess anterior segment structures before and after intraocular surgery.
